Eminent physicist C.V.Raman, one of the big names in modern astronomy, will be remembered through a centre for basic astronomy opening here next week.
A project of the Kerala State Science and Technology Museum and Priyadarshini Planetarium, the C.V.Raman Centre for Basic Astronomy will offer courses on astronomy fundamentals with a view to acquainting laymen with the secrets of the Universe.
