Supernova 2008ff

A magnitude 15.5 supernova, 2008ff, was discovered by Tan Thiam Guan  on the 29 August, 2008, in the galaxy ESO 284-G32 in the constellation Sagittarius.
The supernova is located 39" east and 1" south of the centre of  the galaxy.

Position(2000): R.A. = 20h13m59s.96, Dec. = -44°21'07".8

As yet the  type is unknown
