Supernova 2007bt

A bright magnitude 15.6 Type IIn supernova, 2007bt,  was discovered on the 17th April, 2007, by the  Nearby Supernova Factory  in an anonymous galaxy  in the constellation Bootes.
The supernova is located near the centre of the host galaxy.

Position (2000): R.A. = 14h27m47s.73, Dec. = +12°48'47".1
