Asteroid (6459) Hidesan (1992 UY5) is a main-belt asteroid orbiting the Sun with a period of 5.27 years at an average distance of 3.0234087 AU and an eccentricity of 0.0983536, inclined at 10.58889° with respect to the ecliptic.

It was discovered by Kin Endate and Kazuro Watanabe in Kitami on the 28th October 1992.
