NGC 7553 (also HCG 93D, PGC 70842 and PGC 70834) is a magnitude +14.4 elliptical galaxy located 238 million light-years away in the constellation Pegasus.  

The galaxy was discovered by Bindon Stoney using a 182.88 cm (72 inch) reflector at Birr Castle on the 2nd November 1850.
