NGC 1250 (also MCG 7-7-40, UGC 2613 and PGC 12098) is a magnitude +12.9 spiral galaxy located 276 million light-years away in the constellation Perseus.

The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis A. Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on the 21st October 1886.
