NGC 1259 (also Arp 310, MCG 7-7-46 and PGC 12208) is a magnitude +14.3 spiral galaxy located 267 million light-years away in the constellation Perseus.

The galaxy was discovered by French astronomer Guillaume Bigourdan using a 30.48 cm (12 inch) refractor at the Paris Observatory on the 21st October 1884.

Position (J2000): R.A. 03h 17m 17.3s  |  Dec. +41° 23' 08"
