NGC 1257 is a magnitude +13.6 double star located in the constellation Perseus.

The double star was discovered by French astronomer Guillaume Bigourdan using a 30.48 cm (12 inch) refractor at the Paris Observatory on the 19th October 1884.

Position (J2000): R.A. 03h 16m 59.5s  |  Dec. +41° 31' 46"
