NGC 7002 (also ESO 235-43 and PGC 66009) is a magnitude +12.4 elliptical galaxy located 338 million light-years away in the constellation Indus.

The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 Inch) reflecting telescope at Feldhausen in Wynberg, Cape Town on the 30th September 1834. 

Right Ascension 21h 03m 45.0s, Declination -49° 01' 45"
