NGC 7174 (also ESO 466-40, IRAS 21592-3214, MCG -5-52-10 and PGC 67881) is a magnitude +13.3 spiral galaxy located 122 million light-years away in the constellation Piscis Austrinus.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflecting telescope at Feldhausen, Claremont, Cape Town on the 28th September 1834.
