NGC 527 (also ESO 352-68, MCG -6-4-21, PGC 5128 and PGC 5141) is a magnitude +13.0 barred spiral galaxy located 266 million light-years away in the constellation Sculptor.

The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflecting telescope  at Feldhausen, Claremont, Cape Town on the 1st September 1834. 

Right Ascension 01h 23m 58.0s, Declination -35° 06' 55"
