NGC 1077 (also NGC 1077A, IRAS 02428+3952, MCG 7-6-69, UGC 2230 and PGC 10468) is a magnitude +13.6 spiral galaxy located 412 million light-years away in the constellation Perseus.

The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis A. Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on the 16th August 1885.

Right Ascension 02h 46m 00.6s, Declination +40 05' 24"
