NGC 6917 (also IRAS 20249+0755, MCG 1-52-7, UGC 11563 and PGC 64715) is a magnitude +13.4 spiral galaxy located 216 million light-years away in the constellation Delphinus.
The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Albert Marth using a 121.92-cm (48-inch) reflector in Malta on the 15th August 1863.
