NGC 6828 is a magnitude +8.8 group of stars around the star SAO 125116, located near to Altair, in the constellation Aquila.

The asterism was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 30th July 1788. 

Right Ascension 19h 50m 17.0s, Declination +07° 54' 14"
