NGC 6834 (also Collinder 407, C 1950+292 and OCL 134) is a magnitude +7.8 open star cluster located 7,002 light-years away in the constellation Cygnus.

The cluster was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflecting telescope at Datchet, England on the 17th July 1784.

Right Ascension 19h 52m 12.5s, Declination +29° 24' 29"
