NGC 6893 (also ESO 234-6, IRAS 20172-4824 and PGC 64507) is a magnitude +11.8 barred spiral galaxy located 141 million light-years away in the constellation Telescopium. 

The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at the Cape of Good Hope on the 7th July 1834.

Right Ascension 20h 20m 49.6s, Declination -48° 14' 22"
