NGC 6624 (also ESO 457-SC11 and GCL 93) is a magnitude +7.6 globular cluster located 25800 ±1100 light-years away in the constellation Sagittarius.

The cluster was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflecting telescope at Datchet, Berkshire, on the 24th June 1784. 

Right Ascension 18h 23m 41s, Declination -30° 21' 39"

NGC is visible as a hazy spot with a small telescope, and appears as a star-like object with binoculars. Its core appears significantly condensed. It is located 0.8 degrees southeast of the star Delta Sagittarii
