NGC 6502 (also ESO 103-2 and PGC 61352) is a magnitude +12.5 lenticular galaxy located 252 million light-years away in the constellation Pavo.

The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflecting telescope at the Cape of Good Hope on the 20th June 1835. 

Right Ascension 18h 04m 14.0s, Declination -65° 24' 35"
