NGC 5391 is a lost or non-existent object in the constellation Canes Venatici.

The object was discovered by American astronomer Lewis A. Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on the 16th June 1884.
Subsequent observations of the position show no observable astronomical object.

Right Ascension 13h 57m 36.5s, Declination +46° 19' 26"
