Space X launches after 3 failed attempts

The unmanned SpaceX rocket launched successfully on Monday morning at 11:15. Today's liftoff was the fourth attempt. Two countdowns were scrubbed and a third was postponed due to technical and weather problems.

The ORBCOMM Generation 2 production satellite program is a commercial satellite contract to design, manufacture, and deliver 18 lowEarth orbit communications satellites. The OG2 constellation supports worldwide asset tracking for commercial customers, as well as Automatic Identification System (AIS) data for the U.S. Coast Guard and other users.
The pathfinder OG2 satellite was launched in October, 2012 and the remaining 17 OG2 satellites will be launched aboard two Falcon 9 launch vehicles in 2014.

An Orbcomm OG2 communications satellite is scheduled to launch aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida, on the 15th June 2014. The launch window extends from 00:00 to 00:53 UT (16th)
