NGC 6491 (also NGC 6493A, IRAS 17494+6132, MCG 10-25-103, UGC 11008 and PGC 60949) is a magnitude +13.6 spiral galaxy located 247 million light-years away in the constellation Draco.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis Swift using a 40.64 cm (16 inch) refractor on the 13th June 1885.
