NGC 6655 is a magnitude +12.9 pair of stars located in the constellation Scutum.
The double star was discovered by German astronomer Friedrich August Theodor Winnecke using a 24 cm (9-inch) refracting telescope at the Berlin Observatory on the 11th June 1855.
