NGC 6219 (also MCG 2-43-1 and PGC 58944) is a magnitude +14.2 face-on spiral galaxy located 435 million light-years away in the constellation of Hercules. 

The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Albert Marth using a 121.92 cm (48 inch) speculum reflector at William Lassell's Tigné Point observatory in Sliema, Malta, on the 10th June 1863.

Right Ascension 16h 46m 22.6s, Declination +09° 02' 18"
