NGC 6355 (also ESO 519-SC15 and GCL 63) is a magnitude +8.6 globular cluster located 30000 light-years away in the constellation Ophiuchus.
The cluster was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Datchet, Berkshire, on the 24th May 1784.
