NGC 3058 (also IC 573, MCG -2-25-26 and PGC 28513) is a magnitude +13.5 spiral galaxy located 343 million light-years away in the constellation Hydra.
The galaxy was discovered by American  astronomer Francis Preserved Leavenworth using a 66.04 cm (26 inch) refractor at the Leander McCormick Observatory on the 6th May 1886.
The galaxy was rediscovered by Stephane Javelle in April 1892 and relisted as IC 573.

Right Ascension 09h 53m 36.1s, Declination -12° 28' 56"
