NGC 3821 (also MCG 4-28-30, UGC 6663 and PGC 36314) is a magnitude +12.9 face-on barred spiral galaxy located 265 million light-years away in the constellation Leo.

The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Datchet, Berkshire, on the 26th April 1785.

Right Ascension 11h 42m 09.0s, Declination +20° 18' 55"
