NGC 5163 (also MCG 9-22-62, UGC 8453 and PGC 47096) is a magnitude +13.6 elliptical galaxy located 410 million light-years away in the constellation Ursa Major.

The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 26th April 1789.

Right Ascension 13h 26m 54.1s, Declination +52° 45' 15"
