NGC 6014 (also IC 4586, IRAS 15535+0604, MCG 1-41-2, UGC 10091 and PGC 56413) is a magnitude +12.2 face-on spiral galaxy located 114 million light-years away in the constellation Serpens.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 45.72 cm (18 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 24th April 1830. The galaxy was rediscovered by Lewis Swift in August 1897, and relisted as IC 4586.
