NGC 3244 (also IRAS 10232-3934, MCG -7-22-5 and PGC 30594) is a magnitude +12.9 face-on spiral galaxy located 127 million light-years away in the constellation Antlia.

The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 45.72 cm (18 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at the Cape of Good Hope on the 22nd April 1835.

The galaxy hosted supernova 2010ev

Right Ascension 10h 25m 29.20s, Declination -39° 49' 40.0"
