NGC 3421 (also IC 652, MCG -2-28-13 and PGC 32514) is a magnitude +13.7 barred spiral galaxy located 204 million light-years away in the constellation Hydra.

The galaxy was discovered by British amateur astronomer Andrew Ainslie Common using a 91.44 cm (36 inch) reflector at his Ealing observatory, near London on the 19th April 1880.
The galaxy was rediscovered by Stephane Javelle  in April 1892 and listed as IC 652

Right Ascension 10h 50m 57.6s, Declination -12° 26' 52"
