NGC 3224 (also ESO 375-13, MCG -6-23-24 and PGC 30314) is a magnitude +11.0 elliptical galaxy located 142 million light-years away in the constellation Antlia.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at the Cape of Good Hope on the 18th April 1835.
