NGC 5019 (also IRAS 13101+0459, MCG 1-34-9, UGC 8288 and PGC 45885) is a magnitude +13.6 face-on spiral galaxy located 296 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo.

The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 17th April 1786.

Right Ascension 13h 12m 42.5s, Declination +04° 43' 45"
