NGC 5136 (also IC 888, IRAS 13223+1359, MCG 2-34-15 and PGC 46905) is a magnitude +14.0 elliptical galaxy located 306 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo.

The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Datchet, Berkshire, on the 12th April 1784.
The galaxy was rediscovered by Lewis Swift in May 1889 and relisted as IC 888.

Right Ascension 13h 24m 51.4s, Declination +13° 44' 17"
