NGC 5900 (also IRAS 15132+4223, MCG 7-31-46, UGC 9790 and PGC 54431) is a magnitude +14.0 spiral galaxy located 115 million light-years away in the constellation Boötes. 

The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 9th April 1787.

Right Ascension 15h 15m 05.2s, Declination +42° 12' 34"
