NGC 4165 (also IC 3035, MCG 2-31-45, UGC 7201 and PGC 38885) is a magnitude +13.5 barred spiral galaxy located 85 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo. 

The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Heinrich d'Arrest using a 27.94 cm (11 inch) f/17.5 Merz-Refractor at the Copenhagen Observatory on the 8th April 1866.
The galaxy was rediscovered by Arnold Schwassmann in November 1900 and relisted as IC 3035.

Right Ascension 13h 12m 11.8s, Declination +13° 14' 46"
