NGC 4168 (also MCG 2-31-46, UGC 7203 and PGC 38890) is a magnitude +11.2 elliptical galaxy located 102 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo. 

The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Datchet, Berkshire, on the 8th April 1784.

Right Ascension 12h 12m 17.2s, Declination +13° 12' 16"
