NGC 3174 (also NGC 3144, MCG 12-10-23, UGC 5519 and PGC 29949) is a magnitude +13.4 spiral galaxy located 296 million light-years away in the constellation Draco. 

The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 2nd April 1801.
The galaxy was rediscovered by Heinrich d'Arrest in September 1865 and relisted as NGC 3144.

Right Ascension 10h 15m 32.1s, Declination +74° 13' 14"
