NGC 4800 (also IRAS 12523+4648, MCG 8-24-4, UGC 8035 and PGC 43931) is a magnitude +11.6 face-on spiral galaxy located 41 million light-years away in the constellation Canes Venatici. 

The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 1st April 1788.

Right Ascension 12h 54m 37.8s, Declination +46° 31' 53"
