NGC 4804 (also NGC 4802, IRAS 12532-1147, MCG -2-33-61 and PGC 44087) is a magnitude +11.6 lenticular galaxy located 43 million light-years away in the constellation Corvus.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Clayhall Farm House in Old Windsor on the 27th March 1786. The galaxy was rediscovered by Wilhelm Tempel in April 1882 and relisted as NGC 4802.
