NGC 4012 (also MCG 2-31-6, UGC 6960 and PGC 37686) is a magnitude +13.4 spiral galaxy located 192 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo. 

The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Albert Marth using a 121.92 cm (48 inch) reflector at William Lassell's Tigné Point observatory in Sliema, Malta, on the 25th March 1865.

Right Ascension 11h 58m 27.5s, Declination +10° 01' 18"
