NGC 4029 (also MCG 1-31-8, UGC 6990 and PGC 42929) is a magnitude +13.5 spiral galaxy located 286 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo. 

The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Albert Marth using a 121.92 cm (48 inch) reflector at William Lassell's Tigné Point observatory in Sliema, Malta, on the 25th March 1865.

Right Ascension 12h 00m 03.2s, Declination +08° 10' 56"
