NGC 3069 (also IC 580, MCG 2-26-5 and PGC 28788) is a magnitude +14.2 spiral galaxy located 245 million light-years away in the constellation Leo.

The galaxy was discovered by Danish-Irish astronomer John Dreyer using a 182.88 cm (72 inch) speculum reflector at Birr castle on the 15th March 1877.
The galaxy was rediscovered by Stephane Javelle in March 1892 and relisted as IC 580.

Right Ascension 09h 57m 56.7s, Declination +10° 25' 58"
