NGC 3307 (also MCG -4-25-29 and PGC 31430) is a magnitude +13.5 lenticular galaxy located 174 million light-years away in the constellation Hydra.

The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at the Cape of Good Hope on the 22nd March 1836.

Right Ascension 10h 36m 17.2s, Declination -27° 31' 44"
