NGC 4521 (also NGC 4512, MCG 11-15-61, UGC 7706 and PGC 41621) is a magnitude +12.2 edge-on spiral galaxy located 116 million light-years away in the constellation Draco.

The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 20th March 1790.
The galaxy was rediscovered by John Herschel in April 1832, and relisted as NGC 4512

Right Ascension 12h 32m 47.6s, Declination +63° 56' 22"
