NGC 2704 (also IC 2424, MCG 7-19-5, UGC 4678 and PGC 25134) is a magnitude +13.5 barred spiral galaxy located 327 million light-years away in the constellation Lynx.

The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 18th March 1787.
The galaxy was rediscovered by Guillaume Bigourdan in March 1882 and relisted as IC 2424.

Right Ascension 08h 56m 47.7s, Declination +39° 22' 57"
