NGC 3963 (also IRAS 11523+5846, MCG 10-17-100, UGC 6884 and PGC 37386) is a magnitude +11.7 face-on barred spiral galaxy located 146 million light-years away in the constellation Ursa Major.

The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 18th March 1790.

Right Ascension 11h 54m 58.8s, Declination +58° 29' 36"
