NGC 3691 (also IRAS 11255+1711, MCG 3-29-53, UGC 6464 and PGC 35292) is a magnitude +12.4 spiral galaxy located 50 million light-years away in the constellation Leo.
In the sky it can be found close to the galaxies NGC 3684 and NGC 3686.

The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Datchet, Berkshire, on the 14th March 1784.
