NGC 2698 (also MCG 0-23-12 and PGC 25067) is a magnitude +13.8 lenticular galaxy located 85 million light-years away in the constellation Hydra.

The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 11th March 1826.

Right Ascension 08h 55m 36.4s, Declination Dec -03° 11' 03"
