NGC 2500 (also IRAS 07581+5052, MCG 9-13-110 and PGC 22525) is a magnitude +11.6 spiral galaxy located 25 million light-years away in the constellation Lynx.

The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 9th March 1788.

Right Ascension   08h 01m 53.0s, Declination +50° 44' 12"
