NGC 4741 (also MCG 8-23-98, UGC 8000 and PGC 43504) is a magnitude +13.7 spiral galaxy located 408 million light-years away in the constellation Canes Venatici.

The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 9th March 1788.

Right Ascension   12h 50m 59.4s, Declination +47° 40' 18"
